IMRA is a non-governmental organization, which aims to identify the dynamics of international migration both in Turkey and the world, to inform the policy makers and public opinion in this regard, to defend the rights of people who have international migration experience on every channel and contribute to their socio-economic cohesion.
IMRA works on a non-discriminatory basis for the needs and problems of people of any legal status who have experienced international immigration, believing that all human beings should have equal rights and opportunities in accordance with human dignity.
Within this framework, IMRA conducts research and publications, meetings and conferences, education, advocacy at national and international levels, adaptation and implementation projects, awareness campaigns and civil society and public network forming studies, aiming to raise awareness about international migration, to contribute to the development of social dialogue against prejudice and discrimination directed at international migrants, and to support the establishment of accurate and effective policies and practices for the management of international migration.
